Old banner looks not movable. How to indicate swipe gesture?
Old banner looks not movable. So I change the banner layout, which leads users to swipe left to see different banners.
Users feel little difference between the banner and the bottom cards. To clarify, I name the banner “recommend” and the bottom cards “popular photoshoots”.
Too many tabs overwhelm users. How to streamline the interface?
The top and bottom nav bar offer too many choices, which overwhelms the users. So I remove the top bar which has unnecessary functions.
Users hope they can find specific info quickly, so I added a search box on the top for them to find a photographer, style, etc.
“the filter is hard to understand.” what’s a better design pattern?
The previous filter looks a bit complicated. Users spend time figuring out how to use it, as they also feel the “style preference” seems not clickable.
Minimized the filter to a simple check box layout and easy to multi-select as well.
